Wincott Business Journalist Fellowship 2019 by Reuters Institute
Reuters Institute is offering the Wincott Business Journalist Fellowship for mid-career journalists living in sub-Saharan Africa, with a chance to grow and develop themselves, so that they can give back to the industry and carry out media-based research while being a part of the University of Oxford, studying with an international cohort of journalists and academics.

Eligibilities:
Expertise in English
Minimum 5 years of journalistic experience or equivalent level or expertise
Eligible Regions: sub-Saharan Africa

Application Process
Applications has to be made online with the following materials:

A full curriculum vitae
A personal statement outlining including the applicant’s journalistic values, major trends in the media landscape in which they works, and a summary of what they thinks would contribute to the Fellowship program
A statement of up to 1,000 words explaining their proposed research project
Reference and approval from their employer
A second professional reference
A sample of their work
Recommendations from two people
Three articles or reports, including dates and names of the publication; accompanying with their English translation, if is written in any other language
Applicants in managerial or editorial positions for whom it would be difficult to send work samples has to include a statement of up to 500 words describing your work
