Vavilov-Frankel Agricultural Fellowship

The Vavilov-Frankel Fellowship enables outstanding scientists from developing countries to carry out research on the conservation and use of agricultural and forest biodiversity. The research involves collaboration with an academic institution outside of the fellows’ home countries. To date, 41 scientists from 25 countries from all regions of the world have received the Fellowship.

Durham International Junior Research Fellowships


The Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) scheme is designed to attract the most talented researchers in Europe and beyond, and build international networks of scholars with a common passion for the deepest theoretical questions and most pressing practical problems facing humanity.

Fellowships in American History and Culture

THE STIPEND IS $2,500. The fellowships support both post-doctoral and dissertation research. The project proposal should demonstrate that the Library Company and the Historical Society have primary sources central to the research topic. Candidates are encouraged to inquire about the appropriateness of a proposed topic before applying. The fellowships are tenable for one month at any time from June 2014 to May 2015. The stipend is $2,500, plus an allowance for travel expenses. The Library Company's Cassatt House fellows' residence offers rooms at reasonable rates, along with a kitchen, common room, and offices with internet access, available to resident and non-resident fellows at all hours.

The deadline for receipt of one-month fellowship applications is March 1, 2014, with a decision to be made by April 15. Radcliffe Harvard Fellowship Program

Each of the more than 650 fellows who have been in residence at the Radcliffe Institute has pursued an independent project, but the collaborative experience unites all of them. the deadline for fellowship applications has passed. Applicants will be notified of their results, by email, in March 2014.Information on applying as an individual for the 2015–2016 fellowship year will be available in late spring 2014.
