Michael Kidger Memorial Scholarship

The Scholarship is to be awarded to a student of optical design, where the term 'optical design' is meant to include both lens design and illumination design.The candidate must meet the entry criteria for the chosen course of study or research.The candidate must have at least one year after the award to completion of their chosen course of study.

SPIE Scholarships Optics

SPIE provided $3.2 million in support of education and outreach programs in 2013.

In 2013 SPIE awarded over $390,000 in scholarships to 161 outstanding individuals for their potential long-range contribution to optics, photonics or related field. Individual scholarships ranged from $2,000 to $11,000.

You Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in an optics, photonics, program or related field (e.g., physics or electrical engineering) at an accredited school for the school year beginning in the Fall 2014 (Aug 2014-Jul 2015)

RANZCO Study Scholarships

RANZCO's role is to assess the training, qualifications and experience of the S-IMG for comparability with an ophthalmologist trained and qualified in Australia.
