Prize Studentship Application Guide
The SUPA Prize Studentships are prestigious and competitive awards intended to attract outstanding physics students from around the world, irrespective of nationality, to study for a PhD in Scotland.
You will be asked to state your first choice of SUPA university and preferred SUPA Theme. You must make contact with prospective supervisors and research groups before applying as you will be asked to provide an e-mail contact for your prospective supervisor.

Prize studentships will be awarded competitively. The studentships provide support for tuition fees, stipend and a travel grant for a three-and-a-half-year period. SUPA is the funding body for the prize studentships.

There may be a requirement, associated with these positions, to teach or undertake lab supervision.
This will be negotiated between the student and the host university.

Applications must be made online using the web form at:
 http://apply.supa.ac.uk  At the end of theprocess, you will be given an application code.
 Please make a careful note of this code. 
On completion of the on-line form, you will be invited to upload a scanned transcript of your first degree (after high school) in pdf format. Transcripts are optional and not a requirement.

You are responsible for completing the form accurately by 23.59 GMT on Sunday 31st January
2016 and for ensuring that your two named referees upload the references before the deadline
of 23.59 GMT on Sunday 7th February 2016. It is very important that both you and your referees quote your unique application reference code and your name on all correspondence and
submissions. The email address for enquiries about references is admin@supa.ac.uk.

Requirements
Please prepare the following before starting the application form:
1. Your contact details, including a valid email address that you will check daily during the
prize process period.
2. The contact details of two referees who have agreed to provide references for you.
3. The e-mail address of a prospective supervisor with whom you have been in contact and
who has agreed to supervise you.
4. Details of your higher education (after high school) academic record and any English
language qualifications (including scores and grades) if applicable.
5. Details of your academic achievements, prizes, awards and publications.
6. A prepared statement of your interest in a chosen SUPA Theme or area of research (approx.
200 words).
7. A prepared statement of what makes you a suitable candidate for a SUPA prize studentship
(approx. 200 words).
8. A scanned final or interim (if you have not yet graduated) transcript of your first degree (afterhigh school) in pdf format.

Bocconi University Scholarship Italy

Bocconi University is committed to making higher education accessible to  our students from  all backgrounds worldwide. Università Bocconi offers need-based scholarships to international first year Bocconi Master of Science Program applicants for the 2016-2017 academic year. The awarding of the scholarship takes into consideration not only the economic conditions of the students but also their academic performances; applications required.
The Bocconi Scholarship for International Students includes a full tuition waiver, worth up to € 12,000 per year.
Applicants for the first 5 “international” sessions, who are neither a resident or citizen of Italy nor have earned an Italian Undergraduate degree in Italy or abroad,  will have the opportunity to apply for the Bocconi Scholarship for International Students by completing the online application; link found in the top right-hand corner of this page.  The scholarship application must be submitted online by the same deadline as the one for the online admission's application.

    Applicants must have completed their school education outside of Germany or have graduated from a Studienkolleg and must not be eligible for BAföG. If you fulfill the basic application criteria according to §8 of the BAföG law (Federal Training Assistance act), you will not be eligible for this scholarship according to the scholarship regulations. This is independent of whether you actually receive funding.

    IMRD Consortium Scholarship Belgium

    The IMRD Consortium Scholarship

    Starting intake 2015, partner universities and consortium beneficiaries award a limited number of full scholarships to young promising students from all nationalities. The aim of these scholarships is for these promising students to finance their participation to the IMRD programme, and for the programme to be able to keep on attracting world top class students.

    As these scholarships are mainly provided by consortium partners, awarded students are expected to study at least half of the IMRD programme at the partner awarding them the scholarship. More precisely, the awardee will have to conduct his/her master dissertation at the awarding university, as well as at least the second or third semester of the programme (which is perfectly in line with the IMRD Mobility Scheme).

    Undergraduate Tuition Fee Assistance and Related Scholarship Standards
    Provide a scholarship corresponding to school support fees if the student has completed at least 12 credits in the previous semester and maintained a cumulative GPA of B- (3.0/4.3).
    Provide a scholarship corresponding to school support fees for 1 year (2 semesters) after admission regardless of academic record.
    Students who have applied for the National Scholarship Fund (type 1), implemented by the Korea Student Aid Foundation, and receive no more than 3 allotments of income are provided with a scholarship corresponding to registration fees (tuition fees + school support fees) regardless of the academic performance in the previous semester.
    Basic Policies of Scholarship Operation
    In accordance to the government policy forbidding duplicate payment of scholarships, duplicate payment is prohibited (the more favorable scholarship is provided to students).
    If a student does not apply for or withdraws from a scholarship recommended by the university by their own will, the student will be denied payment of internal university scholarships based on separate standards.
    All scholarships provided by the university on a monthly basis are support for living expenses (cannot exceed 500,000 KRW per month).

    AHRC Professional Preparation Master’s Scheme Awards

    Well-qualified applicants on the following programmes of study may be eligible for a full maintenance and fees award or a fees-only award, depending on which criteria of residency etc they meet.
    For a full award, applicants must have been resident in the UK for three years or more prior to start of the award. For EU nationals this can include time spent in the UK for education, but for non-EU nationals residency must have been for purposes other than education. Fees-only awards are available for EU nationals who have been resident in the EU for more than three years prior to the start of the award. Non-EU nationals cannot apply for fees-only awards. Applicants holding 'time-limited visas' are not eligible.
